THE IRVING OPERA PUMP
The IRVING Opera Pump takes its name from Irving Penn’s playful 1947 photo “Theatre Accident”, where the contents of a dropped handbag spill out over a pair of highly polished black pumps.
Ours are bench made here in England, from unpolished matte black calf leather, with black leather lining and “knock over” binding, on a sleek leather sole. They can be ordered with either a “pinched” or a “flat” black grosgrain bow - flat is our personal preference.
While traditionally worn for the most formal events, here at AWMS we like to pair them with beaten up jeans and olive green fatigues for a playful juxtaposition.
All our pumps are available on a made to order basis in UK sizes 6 - 13, individually made and turnaround time is 4-6 weeks from ordering to shipping
PLEASE ADD YOUR UK SHOE SIZE INTO THE COMMENT BOX ON ORDER FORM, OR EMAIL DIRECTLY FOR FITTING ADVICE.
As the pumps are made personally for you, they cannot be returned or exchanged.
