THE PLEATED EASY TROUSER (Olive)

Over two years in development, we are ecstatic to present The Pleated Easy Trouser.

Based off a pair that were made for me by Fred Nieddu at Taillour in the early days of the Covid lockdown, they take the idea of a casual trouser with a wide, easy fitting nature and add some clever sartorial touches.

The 5cm elasticated waist band is equipped with an interior drawstring and three button fly, while gently gathered front pleats add volume and drape to the roomy silhouette, with a full seat and high waist. They taper from the knee to a sensible 23cm to 27cm depending on size, keeping the overall look from getting too sloppy. Pop em on straight out of bed for lazy days round the gaff or wear em out on the razz.

For this first iteration, we have utilised a 140g 21 wale 100% cotton needlecord; the perfect year round cloth in two sensible solid colourways and one beautifully rich and detailed brown paisley with red and tan accents.

To carefully gauge interest, we are offering the Easy Trouser on a made-to-order basis, using a small workshop here in England.

The Easy Trouser will be available in three sizes:

SIZE 1 to cater for 28" to 32" waist size. Unstretched width 64cm, fully stretched to 92cm.

SIZE 2 to cater for 32" to 36" waist size. Unstretched width 76cm, fully stretched to 100cm.

SIZE 3 to cater for 36" to 40" waist size. Unstretched width 88cm, fully stretched to 112cm.

All sizes have an inside leg measure of 74cm and a graded, tapered fit. Contact us for more size information and advice.
