THE RICHARD OPERA PUMP

The RICHARD Opera Pump was inspired by photograph of artist, clotheshorse and Ralph Lauren muse Richard Merkin donning a pair of brown calf opera pumps in his own inimitable fashion.

Ours are bench made here in England, from unpolished matte brown calf leather, with brown leather lining and “knock over” binding, on a sleek leather sole. finished off with a tonally correct and meticulously sourced brown grosgrain flat bow.

While traditionally worn for the most formal events, here at AWMS we like to pair them with bright tailoring or beaten up fatigues for a playful juxtaposition.

All our pumps are available on a made to order basis in UK sizes 6 - 13, individually made and turnaround time is 4-6 weeks from ordering to shipping
