JAKE'S x AWMS WAVY IVY TIE

Our take on the repp club tie comes from a chance find while digging for vintage fabric.

There was something slightly disorientating as we studied the deadstock bolt of English silk. Were our eyes playing tricks on us? Was the cloth before us a standard regimental stripe or did it have a gentle lysergic wobble?

We bought the lot.

As a fount of knowledge an all matters sartorial and a talented shirtmaker & tailor to boot, we went straight over to Jake Wigham's workshop to get his seal of approval. He handmade us the perfect 1960s Ivy League tie and the collaboration was born.

The Wavy Ivy tie offers a playful iconoclasm on a traditional motif. The kind of tie that asks "are you cool?" over the top of a pair of Wayfarers. The secret sign you'd seek out if you were trying to score blotter acid on the quad at Princeton. The tie your wayward cousin wore on the first day of art school.
